Any ideas on entertaining a 1 year old?

Hello,

I am running out of ideas for entertaining my 1 year old charge. I think I play with her toys more than she does! Any ideas? Also, other than Gymboree she doesn't have contact with other babies her age. Would anyone with a charge around this age like to meet up for playdates?
